About Us
Isabela Biomass Energy Corporation (IBEC) is a 100% Philippine-owned corporation, duly-registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the Philippines, that was formed to generate, sell and supply electricity through the exploration, development and utilization of alternative and/or renewable sources of energy and technologies.

The Project

Together with our technology partner, Thermax Limited of India, IBEC was commissioned during the 3rd Quarter of 2015, with a generation capacity of at least 18MW, connected to the National Grid and will operate as a Pioneer Enterprise under the Renewable Energy Act of 2008.
Corporate Social Responsibility

The IBEC biomass power plant project is expected to provide significant developmental, socio-economic and environmental impact not only to the host barangay but also to the Municipality of Alicia as well as the entire province of Isabela, through a confluence of factors and benefits to the populace.The construction and establishment of a 20-MW power plant in Alicia, Isabela definitely provides a huge push towards the Municipality’s economic development.
